full output including colors

checksec-1.7.4-4.fc27.noarch
all cases seem to be perl processes

see attahcment which contains the fulloutput and with "cat" show colors "as is"

spamd child 1371 Full RELRO No canary found Seccomp-bpf NX enabled PIE enabled No

postgrey --unix 540 Full RELRO No canary found Seccomp-bpf NX enabled PIE enabled No

Comment 1 Harald Reindl 2018-03-31 16:32:19 UTC
maybe the "ps aux" output of said processes is helpful

[root@testserver:~]$ ps aux | grep spamd | grep "spamd child" | grep -v grep
sa-milt 1371 0.0 1.2 199144 86904 ? SN 18:00 0:00 spamd child
sa-milt 1372 0.0 1.2 199144 86908 ? SN 18:00 0:00 spamd child
sa-milt 1373 0.0 1.2 199144 86908 ? SN 18:00 0:00 spamd child
sa-milt 1374 0.0 1.2 199144 86908 ? SN 18:00 0:00 spamd child
sa-milt 1375 0.0 1.2 199276 86976 ? SN 18:00 0:00 spamd child

[root@testserver:~]$ ps aux | grep "postgrey" | grep -v grep
postgrey 540 0.0 0.3 83732 22512 ? Ss 18:00 0:00 postgrey --unix=/var/spool/postfix/postgrey/socket --delay=240 --x-greylist-header=delayed %t seconds at %h

Comment 2 Robin Lee 2018-09-22 16:21:52 UTC
You should report issue to each individual package instead of checksec.

Comment 3 Harald Reindl 2018-09-22 16:28:20 UTC
WTF - how is it an issue of the individual packages when the output of checksec get cluttered

Comment 4 Harald Reindl 2018-09-22 16:30:49 UTC
it's only a problem of "checksec" that it dispalys "spamd child 1763" instead just the fucking PROCESSNAME which would be "spamd"

Comment 5 Robin Lee 2018-09-22 16:37:36 UTC
OK. I understand this issue now.
