Description of problem:


tmw is useless without manaplus and should be retired. It looks like the manaworld is using a different client these days, so there isn't a reason to try to bring the manaplus client back instead. If someone wants Fedora to have software for playing that game, a package should be created for the latest client. It looks like they are using gitlab hosting for their projects with mirrors at github.

Project is marked as "(DEPRECATED)" at github and has obviously moved to gitlab. Last commit is 2 months ago (Changelog tells about release 1.9.3.23), so I fail to see why it's useless. Could you explain with more details?

When I looked at this, I thought the old client had been replaced by something different as opposed to just moving. But I could have made a mistake. If you think there is still being development done on the manaplus client, you could try to bring it back. If that happened then maybe the tmw could still be used. It would be nice to hear from someone who actually plays manaworld about what would be useful for them.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
