Description Igor Raits 2020-05-11 06:49:49 UTC
Hello,

Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (ignatenkobrain).

Your package (lmms) Fails To Install in Fedora 32:

can't install lmms:
  - nothing provides lmms-vst = 1.1.3-15.fc32 needed by lmms-1.1.3-15.fc32.x86_64

If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks.

P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors.

P.P.S. If this bug has been reported in the middle of upgrading multiple dependent packages, please consider using side tags: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/rawhide-gating/multi-builds/

Thanks!

Hi Igor,

I think this bug is bogus. lmms.x86_64 (intentionally) depends on lmms-vst.i686. I was able to install it on my F32 without problems, just checked.

(And I guess that also holds for bug 1832455, although I did not explicitly tested it yet.)

Comment 2 Igor Raits 2020-05-11 08:54:10 UTC
Hi Thomas, the multilib is tricky, I'll add it to the whitelist later this week.

Comment 3 Thomas Moschny 2020-05-11 09:08:01 UTC
JFTR: The whitelist currently seems to be here: https://pagure.io/pungi/blob/master/f/share/multilib/runtime-whitelist.conf

Comment 4 Igor Raits 2020-05-11 09:52:26 UTC
Nice, did not know about that list. Though that is not very helpful for me because that only lists 32bit binary packages which others can use.

*** Bug 1832455 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Comment 6 Igor Raits 2020-05-15 16:13:47 UTC
Promise that I'll add some whitelist for this, so assigning to myself for now.

Comment 7 Igor Raits 2020-05-18 05:26:10 UTC
I added this to my whitelist, so should not be a problem anymore.
