Description of problem:
issue started since 0228 package update

mame gng (neo geo roms do work)

mame crashes

Expected results:

it worked with 0227. not the only package updated during last yum update session

Confirmed, sorry about that. It appears to be driver-dependent. On my system tgmj and ikaruga work while umk3 and mvsc crash. I have reported it upstream.

I have the same issue also.
I found that there is the same issue on https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/7760 .
