Description Patrik Koncity 2021-06-09 12:09:39 UTC
Description of problem:

When you open man audi2allow and look into part "Using audit2allow to generate module policy using reference policy" the example of .te policy is wrong.

policy_module(local, 1.0)

               type myapp_t;
               type etc_t;

Especially part with requirements, in this example are using a wrong pair of brackets. When you try to build policy with this example you are not able to build policy with this module.

# make -f /usr/share/selinux/devel/Makefile local.pp

Compiling targeted local module
m4:local.te:3: ERROR: end of file in string
make: *** [/usr/share/selinux/devel/include/Makefile:156: tmp/local.mod] Error 1
