Description Miro Hrončok 2021-09-15 13:29:31 UTC
I'm trying to rebuild Python 2.7 with openssl1.1-devel on Rawide using the OpenSSL 3 side tag. The packages are:

openssl-libs-3.0.0-1.fc36.x86_64
openssl1.1-1.1.1k-1.fc36.x86_64
openssl1.1-devel-1.1.1k-1.fc36.x86_64

I get the following error:

In file included from /usr/include/openssl/rsa.h:13,
                 from /builddir/build/BUILD/Python-2.7.18/Modules/_ssl.c:69:
/usr/include/openssl/opensslconf.h:42:10: fatal error: opensslconf-x86_64.h: No such file or directory
   42 | #include "opensslconf-x86_64.h"
      | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
compilation terminated.

Is the file missing from the package?

To reproduce, build python2.7 package in the OpenSSL 3 side tag, but replace:

BuildRequires: openssl-devel

With:

BuildRequires: openssl1.1-devel
