Description Artem S. Tashkinov 2022-03-30 13:56:07 UTC
Please apply these two patches to 5.17:

1. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215528#c11

Fixes dmesg SPAM/excessive logging.

2. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215713#c1

Fixes incorrect BT handling causing spurious error messages.

Thanks.

I saw that seemingly three dozen people received a notification about this bug report.

Why is there zero reaction, no follow-ups, nothing?

Comment 2 Justin M. Forbes 2022-03-31 13:56:03 UTC
First, it has been less than 24 hours. Second, we get a massive number of bugs in the Fedora kernel, and taking time to reply when no reply is necessary takes time away from actually fixing those bugs. I do see them, I read every single one. I did actually pull those patches yesterday, and the bug would be updated when an build happens which includes them. I generally reply to bugs when I need more information, or if I post a known fix, bodhi will comment on the bug when an update is filed.
