Your package (rust-actix-connect) Fails To Install in Fedora 35:

can't install rust-actix-connect-devel:
  - nothing provides (crate(actix-service/default) >= 1.0.6 with crate(actix-service/default) < 2.0.0~) needed by rust-actix-connect-devel-2.0.0-4.fc35.noarch
  - nothing provides (crate(actix-codec/default) >= 0.3.0 with crate(actix-codec/default) < 0.4.0~) needed by rust-actix-connect-devel-2.0.0-4.fc35.noarch
  - nothing provides (crate(actix-utils/default) >= 2.0.0 with crate(actix-utils/default) < 3.0.0~) needed by rust-actix-connect-devel-2.0.0-4.fc35.noarch
If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem.

If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (, your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks.

P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors. To reproduce, use the koji/local repo only, e.g. in mock:

    $ mock -r fedora-35-x86_64 --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo=local install rust-actix-connect-devel

P.P.S. If this bug has been reported in the middle of upgrading multiple dependent packages, please consider using side tags:

Comment 1 Fabio Valentini 2022-06-05 10:45:32 UTC
The functionality that was provided by actix-connect has been merged into the actix-tls crate upstream.
This package is now unused, but since packages cannot be retired in stable Fedora branches, it'll just stay broken.

Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2022-09-01 18:38:28 UTC
This package has been orphaned.

You can pick it up at by clicking button "Take". If nobody picks it up, it will be retired and removed from a distribution.

Comment 3 Fabio Valentini 2022-09-01 20:36:23 UTC
This package has *already* been retired from Fedora 37+, so nothing worse than this can happen to it :)

Comment 4 Ben Cotton 2022-11-29 18:56:22 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 35 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 35 on 2022-12-13.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '35'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version'
to a later Fedora Linux version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora Linux 35 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version
prior to this bug being closed.

Comment 5 Ben Cotton 2022-12-13 18:02:11 UTC
Fedora Linux 35 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2022-12-13.

Fedora Linux 35 is no longer maintained, which means that it
will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we
are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora Linux
please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Note that the version
field may be hidden. Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see
the version field.

If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against an
active release.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
