Description Michel Lind 2022-07-19 02:16:09 UTC
Description of problem:
COPR cannot build a package from dist-git if the repository doesn't contain a sources file.

e.g. https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/salimma/folly-testing/build/4642044/

Koji handles such repositories fine: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2004021

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Unsure

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Rebuild folly-rpm-macros (either https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/salimma/rpms/folly-rpm-macros/tree/563fc852f58405f1bb2638a7988914f4616d1373 or https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/folly-rpm-macros/c/5b104bd19b63766ebeee01caf7c03c553e56e729?branch=rawhide)

Actual results:
Build fails:

ERROR: sources file not found

Expected results:
Build succeeds just like on Koji
