Description Fedora Release Engineering 2023-07-25 18:43:07 UTC
notmuch failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f39

For details on the mass rebuild see:
Please fix notmuch at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
notmuch will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 40,
notmuch will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Michael J Gruber 2023-07-25 19:41:52 UTC
Failure is due to the new glib 2.77.0 landing right before the mass rebuild. Let's hope cherry-picking upstream fixes will restore the old behaviour, or I'll have to skip (or modify) the failing test which checks the config file verbatim.
