Description Tom Mannerhagen 2011-08-30 08:31:46 UTC
Description of problem:
The Atheros AR9285 combo-card contains both a WLAN part and a Bluetooth part.
The WLAN part works out of the box without problem. The bluetooth device does not.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Actual kernel installed: 3.1.0-0.rc3.git0.0.fc16.i686

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install F16 Alpha
2. Update to latest state (Kernel 3.1.0-0.rc3.git0.0.fc16.i686)
3. See the BT is not started and can not be activated.

Actual results:
Can not search or activate Bluetooth in Bluetooth settings

Expected results:
Activate and work with bluetooth as normal.

Additional info:
Same result with F15 and previous F16-kernels.

Comment 1 Tom Mannerhagen 2011-09-19 12:16:33 UTC
After last update as of today, the situation has improved a lot!
I am able to activate bluetooth, search for other BT units and set them up.

However, filetransfer is still buggy. Sometimes I am able to send a file, and sometimes not.

Mayhap this is a separate bug.
I will close this one and report a new bug with the help of ABRT.
Probably that way is more informative.

Cheers
Tom
