I'm definitely interested in this. I have already filed a bug against the outdated openvas-libraries (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=525159), but no answer so far. The current maintainer is probably not interested anymore, as only the libs are packaged and even the libs are obviously unmaintained. As the package already exist, this review request probably needs to be closed and the current package orphaned and then be adopted by a new maintainer. I'm adding the maintainer to the CC: of this bug, it would be really nice to get a comment on what he plans to do. I went ahead an started to build my own packages for the whole openvas 2 stack. Here are my unfinished specs and SRPMs, in case it's of any help. http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/openvas-client.spec http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/openvas-libnasl.spec http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/openvas-libraries.spec http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/openvas-plugins.spec http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/openvas-server.spec http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/openvas-client-2.0.5-1.fc10.src.rpm http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/openvas-libnasl-2.0.2-1.fc10.src.rpm http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/openvas-libraries-2.0.4-1.fc10.src.rpm http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/openvas-plugins-1.0.7-1.fc10.src.rpm http://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/openvas-server-2.0.3-1.fc10.src.rpm I'll integrate bits of your specs into the ones I made. I'm thought to hold them because I can not try to build them in mock as buildrequires (e.g. openvas-libraries) are not yet in the repository. Anyway, I'll put them tomorrow. openvas-libraries 2.0.4 are in rawhide now openvas-libraries-7.0.4-1.el7 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 7. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/openvas-libraries-7.0.4-1.el7 openvas-libraries-7.0.4-1.el7 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 7 stable repository. |
