Description Karsten Hopp 2003-07-24 12:56:48 UTC
Description of problem:
After the first boot X11 started with 1024x768. I started r-c-x, changed the monitor
entry to HP 2025 TFT and the resolution to 1600x1200 and saved those changes.
a quick check revealed that /etc/X11/XF86Config doesn't have these changes

Even worse:
when you start r-c-x from the console it starts up in 800x600 and no matter what you change
and save, 800x600 will be the max resolution written to XF86Config

Please try with Fedora Core test 3. redhat-config-xfree86 was in a pretty
incomplete state during test 1.

Comment 2 Karsten Hopp 2003-10-27 10:57:47 UTC
Current fedora installation worked for me.
