texlive appears to bundle lua which is available as a separate package in Fedora.

It currently bundles lua, luajit and libpaper, but after reading the buildsystem scripts all can be replaced by system libs, I'm just investigating how it must be done

- lua needs an update in http://www.tug.org/svn/texlive/trunk/Build/source/m4/kpse-lua52-flags.m4?revision=32878&view=markup
- libpaper was renamed from paper recently in upstream, will be removed in the next build
- luajit is not required at all, will be removed in the next build

no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further

Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 25. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time

of '25'.
