Description Richard W.M. Jones 2014-11-04 23:46:22 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1159804 +++

Description of problem:

The udev.event-timeout kernel parameter was added upstream and
in RHEL 7.1 (bug 1154778).

Unfortunately this contains a bug which stops it from working. I
have submitted a patch upstream to fix this:

http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/systemd-devel/2014-November/024908.html

which should be included in RHEL 7.1.

Comment 1 Richard W.M. Jones 2014-11-04 23:47:11 UTC
Sorry, I should say that the upstream patch doesn't apply directly,
but the change is fairly obvious. I will attach a patch for
RHEL 7.1 systemd momentarily.

Rebased patch for RHEL 7.1

Comment 4 Richard W.M. Jones 2014-11-06 13:45:01 UTC
I'm closing this bug:

- It should have been filed against systemd.

- It is fixed in systemd anyway (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1154778#c5)
so this bug is not needed.
