Description Peter Hutterer 2015-03-12 22:26:53 UTC
Description of problem:
Pls merge Benjamin's clickpad patch into the Fedora kernels
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/5956111/

Jiri queued it for 4.1, but I'm getting relatively frequent email of people who think libinput is broken because the INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD property is missing. Affected are a bunch of laptops like the Dell XPS13, some of the newer Acer Aspires, etc.

Comment 1 Josh Boyer 2015-03-13 13:52:53 UTC
Patch added on all branches. Thanks!

Package kernel-3.19.1-200.fc21:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository,

Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing kernel-3.19.1-200.fc21'
as soon as you are able to, then reboot.

Comment 9 Cédric Bellegarde 2015-04-27 16:42:57 UTC
For me it's not fixed.

My XPS 13 do not have tap to click with Fedora 22 up to date.

Comment 10 Peter Hutterer 2015-04-30 08:04:26 UTC
Cedric: tap-to-click is a different feature not affected by this kernel issue. Please file a separate bug for that
