Taking. This package has a lot of issues. 

It appears to be abandoned by a maintainer having gone AWOL and subsequently having suffered from quite a bit of spec-rot.

As upstream still seems to be active and as I don't want to see this package die, I am going to package sightly a newer version and rework the spec.
