This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 24 development cycle.
Changing version to '24'.

More information and reason for this action is here:

Comment 5 Rex Dieter 2016-02-29 13:47:36 UTC
as this pkg is plasma4-based, it probably ought to be retired

Comment 7 Sergio Basto 2016-11-29 20:30:28 UTC
thank you to keep this package, it still use it in my kde-plasma4 desktop [1]
the package builds fine against kdeplasma4-addons-devel (which is in my repo) so I think it is FTBFS is because kdeplasma-addons-devel are now based on plasma5
So I agree this pkg ought to be retired .

Comment 8 Rex Dieter 2017-02-16 13:49:45 UTC
That's still no reason to keep it in fedora as an official package. If you want it for some unofficial repo/copr, I'd suggest you host it there instead.

yes , no problem, thanks , I already updated it in my copr : https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/sergiomb/kde4for23/package/kde-plasma-activitymanager/

I agree this package should be retired .

Thanks

Comment 11 Sergio Basto 2017-06-17 02:42:36 UTC
As is a FTBFS since F23 this package should be retired .

Note:
kde-plasma-activitymanager was part of old plasma-kde4 (which have /usr/lib64/kde4/plasma_applet_activitymanager.so )

Comment 12 Fedora End Of Life 2017-07-25 19:59:58 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version'
of '24'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 24 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 13 Fedora End Of Life 2017-08-08 12:51:01 UTC
Fedora 24 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-08-08. Fedora 24 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this
bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.

Comment 14 Sergio Basto 2017-10-06 01:41:53 UTC
As is a FTBFS since F23 [1] this package should be retired .

Note:
kde-plasma-activitymanager was part of old plasma-kde4 (which have /usr/lib64/kde4/plasma_applet_activitymanager.so )

Comment 15 Jan Kurik 2018-05-31 09:05:14 UTC
This bug is currently reported against a Fedora version which is already unsuported.
I am changing the version to '27', the latest supported release.

Please check whether this bug is still an issue on the '27' release.
If you find this bug not being applicable on this release, please close it.

Comment 16 Ben Cotton 2018-11-27 15:23:06 UTC

Comment 17 Rex Dieter 2018-11-27 15:29:19 UTC
Still an issue, may have to start non-responsive maintainer process here. :(

Comment 18 Sergio Basto 2018-11-27 16:12:33 UTC
you can use proven packager to retired the package ?

Comment 19 Sergio Basto 2018-11-27 16:13:00 UTC
