Description Paweł 2018-06-04 12:14:36 UTC
Description of problem:
Mouse pointer disappears, when I create and start a new virtual machine in Boxes and try to use the application window and navigation buttons with my mouse. I've tried restarting Boxes and my laptop.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.28.4

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Ubuntu 18.04
2. Create a new machine, and select downloaded iso file
3. Run new machine on default settings

Actual results:
Mouse pointer disappears inside Boxes window, even when you click (with invisible pointer) the "back" button, to see all virtual machines. Even clicking inside and outside Boxes window and switching windows with mouse doesn't show the pointer inside Boxes window.

Expected results:
Mouse pointer visible, at least on the Boxes' window title-bar and view of all virtual machines.

Additional info:
Pointer only shows up, when I Click and drag the Boxes window.

Comment 1 Paweł 2018-08-16 09:39:55 UTC
Now I tried on Boxes 3.28.5 and starting two virtual machines in seperate windows makes the mouse pointer invisible inside all Boxes windows, incliuding guest systems interface. Dragging or resizing does nothing - pointer is still invisible.

Also experiencing the same issue where the mouse cursor disappears using gnome-boxes.

host: Fedora 28 4.18.8-200.fc28.x86_64
guest: CentOS 7 3.10.0-862.e17.x86_64
