Description Honza Horak 2018-07-17 21:47:58 UTC
Description of problem:
In bug#1590369 we'd like to move the log file into a separate directory, so the daemon is able to re-create the log file after removing it. However, that directory /var/log/mysql does not have correct SELinux context.

Please, add the rules for the directory /var/log/mysql to have context mysqld_log_t.

Comment 1 Honza Horak 2018-07-18 05:56:48 UTC
The rule should likely be for /var/log/mysql(/.*)?

Comment 2 Lukas Vrabec 2018-07-18 20:59:06 UTC
Fix will be part of next selinux-policy build.

Thanks for report!
