Description Hans de Goede 2005-08-26 08:04:15 UTC
running rpmlint on any specfile on my system gives the following output:
Error while reading /home/hans/xscorch.spec

I also tried with SDL.spec, lm_sensors.spec. This is a fully up2date rawhide on
x86_64 with selinux enabled wiht the targeted(default) policy.

Comment 1 Paul Howarth 2005-08-26 09:34:56 UTC
Is rpmlint supposed to work directly with specs?

I have no problem running rpmlint on SRPMS and RPMS...

Comment 2 Hans de Goede 2005-08-26 09:46:38 UTC
Duh,

You're right although an other errormessage would have been helpfull.

Closing.

Comment 3 Ville Skyttä 2005-08-26 16:18:31 UTC
I'll improve the error message in the next rpmlint build.
