Description Ankur Sinha (FranciscoD) 2019-04-14 07:02:24 UTC
Description of problem:
On closing a laptop lid to suspend, resuming sometimes does not return to the lock-screen for the logged in user. Instead, it crashes the session and returns to gdm.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mutter-3.32.0-2.fc30.x86_64
gnome-shell-3.32.0-1.fc30.x86_64

How reproducible:
Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close lid to suspend
2. Open lid to resume
3.

Actual results:
Sometimes shows a lock screen flicker, followed by gdm. All open applications are closed, i.e., the session is lost

Expected results:
Should always return to lock screen and enable user to continue session

Additional info:
Seems to be reported and fixed upstream. Any chance of pulling in the fix to make it available to F30 users?
