"Stop building the devel subpackage in Fedora and RHEL > 8, no new code
should try to use this library, the X server hasn't implemented it in
over 10 years"

Comment 1 Richard Shaw 2019-06-24 11:45:32 UTC
I'm on vacation through this Friday but went ahead and commented the BR out and kicked off a mock build to see what happens.

Comment 2 Mattias Ellert 2019-06-24 12:51:22 UTC
There is also the Requires in the -devel package.

Comment 3 Richard Shaw 2019-06-25 11:01:21 UTC
whoops, missed the requires the first time but I'm rebuilding now.
