Description Vitezslav Crhonek 2019-06-26 09:13:27 UTC
Description of problem:
python3-pywbem conflicts with sblim-wbemcli

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sblim-wbemcli-1.6.3-12.fc29.x86_64
python3-pywbem-0.12.6-1.fc29.noarch

Steps to Reproduce:
# dnf install -y sblim-wbemcli python3-pywbem
Error: Transaction check error:
file /usr/bin/wbemcli conflicts between attempted installs of python3-pywbem-0.12.6-1.fc29.noarch and sblim-wbemcli-1.6.3-12.fc29.x86_64

Additional info:
I noticed the issue on Fedora 29, but I guess Rawhide is affected too and I think it's enough to fix it there.

The problem was introduced in dist-dig commit 2329bade8e1e37f1ee8edae3cbe0778506bad394 during the update to 0.9.0 and addition of python3 package back in Sep 2016. %{_bindir}/pywbemcli was renamed to conflicting %{_bindir}/wbemcli.

Comment 1 Gris Ge 2019-07-12 23:55:48 UTC
Renamed `/usr/bin/wbemcli` to `/usr/bin/pywbemcli` in pywbem-0.14.3-2.fc31

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 31 development cycle.
Changing version to '31'.
