Description Pino Toscano 2019-08-15 15:30:20 UTC
After the rebase of QEMU to 4.1, it seems bug 1726075 is showing up again when running libguestfs-test-tool in brew (so using TCG).

I just disabled quickcheck in libguestfs because of the aforementioned bug, and this bug is to track that.

Comment 1 YongkuiGuo 2019-08-16 09:03:35 UTC
Reproduced with the packages:
qemu-kvm-4.1.0-1.module+el8.1.0+3966+4a23dca1.ppc64le
kernel-4.18.0-128.el8.ppc64le

2. Downgrade the qemu-kvm version to 'qemu-kvm-4.0.0-4.module+el8.1.0+3523+b348b848' and the libguestfs-test-tool command works fine.

Comment 2 Pino Toscano 2019-11-28 11:17:58 UTC
It seems a scratch build shows that it works again, let's try to re-enable quickcheck.

Comment 4 YongkuiGuo 2019-11-29 07:53:21 UTC
Try to verify with packages:
libguestfs-1.40.2-15.module+el8.1.1+4955+f0b25565.ppc64le
