Description Kamil Páral 2019-09-26 10:18:50 UTC
Description of problem:
Even if you have multiple users, the "Switch user" menu item never appears in the user menu. As a workaround, you have to lock the screen, then go to gdm, and then you can switch to a different user.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-3.34.0-2.fc31.x86_64
gdm-3.34.0-2.fc31.x86_64
accountsservice-0.6.54-6.fc31.x86_64
systemd-243-2.gitfab6f01.fc31.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create multiple users
2. look for "switch user" in user menu (right hand corner when logged in)

Comment 1 Kamil Páral 2019-09-26 10:22:19 UTC
Proposing as a FE for F31 Final. This is quite inconvenient if you switch users frequently. Benjaming Berg seems to be looking into it.

Comment 2 Benjamin Berg 2019-09-26 10:58:14 UTC
This was already fixed upstream and has been released.

accountservices simply needs to be updated to Version 0.6.55.
