Description carlosjosepita 2020-04-09 07:58:15 UTC
Description of problem: when I open a menu from the menu bar it appears about 10 cm (4 inches) far from the menu button

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): LyX 2.3.4.2 Qt 5.13.2

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the File menu

Actual results: The menu appears far from where it should appear

Expected results: The menu opens as usual

Additional info: updated Fedora 32 Beta, other qt apps I tried (Anki, QBitTorrent, Calibre) don't show the same problem.

What desktop environment are you using (e.g. Plasma, Gnome, other)?

Comment 2 carlosjosepita 2020-04-09 13:32:19 UTC
Gnome 3.36.1 in Wayland, both using QGnomePlatform (as Fedora comes configured out of the box) and not using it.

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2020-04-09 13:39:44 UTC
when you say "not using it", what is "it"?

Comment 4 carlosjosepita 2020-04-09 13:47:51 UTC
QGnomePlatform (but qt5ct and fusion instead). Anyway, it's broken in the same way in both cases.
