Would it be possible to release a new version of epel-rpm-macros? 

The %{gpgverify} macro was added to https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/epel-rpm-macros/tree/el6 about a year ago, but a new package has not been released. 

gpgverify is available on epel7 and epel8. It would be nice to also get this on el6, so that this just works across all versions. Thanks!
