Description Xavier Bachelot 2021-03-19 13:37:47 UTC
There is a new major PHPMailer 6 version available since quite some time. PHPMailer 6.0.0 dates back to 21 Apr 2016.
Latest is 6.3.0 (19 Feb 2021).
It is backward incompatible with PHPMailer 5.

Could you please take a look at upgrading ?

Version 6 is available in Fedora for years

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/php-phpmailer6

$ dnf repoquery --whatprovides 'php-composer(phpmailer/phpmailer)'
php-PHPMailer-0:5.2.28-3.fc33.noarch
php-phpmailer6-0:6.3.0-1.fc33.noarch

Comment 2 Xavier Bachelot 2021-03-22 10:25:28 UTC
sorry, I was tricked by the upper/lower case change between version 5 and 6.
