Description of problem:
When running monodevelop, testers are finding sigsegv when they attempt to 
create a new project. This has been reported upstream who have returned it as 
not a bug and passed the buck back downstream.

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run monodevelop (currently in FE waiting for approval)
2. File->Create new project
