Your package (python-openapi-spec-validator) Fails To Install in Fedora 38:

can't install python3-openapi-spec-validator:
  - nothing provides (python3.11dist(openapi-schema-validator) < 0.4~~ with python3.11dist(openapi-schema-validator) >= 0.3.2) needed by python3-openapi-spec-validator-0.5.1-1.fc38.noarch
If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem.

If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (, your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks.

P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors. To reproduce, use the koji/local repo only, e.g. in mock:

    $ mock -r fedora-38-x86_64 --config-opts mirrored=False install python3-openapi-spec-validator

Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2023-01-14 12:55:32 UTC
I’m sorry. I checked compatibility before I updated python-openapi-schema-validator, but obviously I made a typo or something.

It’s odd that upstream hasn’t updated either openapi-spec-validator or openapi-core to claim compatibility with this version, given it’s the same person. I guess I’ll check if they plan to do that soon; otherwise, I may have to downgrade with the dreaded Epoch.
