Description Michael Tatarinov 2024-04-02 10:41:20 UTC
Hello
The current version is out-of-date. Please update to the latest version.

Reproducible: Always

It is not as old as it may seem. It's a git snapshot before the 2.0 version bump which has most of the fixes (e.g. rltsdr v4 support). I will rebase it to the 2.0.1 in the rawhide, but probably not in f39, because due to the version bump from 0.6.0 to 2.0.X, it would require recompilation of all deps which is problematic in the stable release.

Hello
I don't agree with you. Some patches are very useful.
Is it possible update in f40?

Thanks.

Hi. This broke rawhide composes. It's got a soname bump in it and rng-tools breaks (which is on the server boot.iso).

I am going to untag it from f41 for now. Can you please rebuild dependent packages in a side tag, etc:

OK, I will rebuild.

Which patches? I could backport. Soname bump is nearly impossible, there are many packages requiring rebuild and some are out of my control.

Comment 8 Kevin Fenzi 2024-04-10 22:20:25 UTC
BTW, I see you rebuilt all the deps in a side tag. Thanks!

Unfortunately, due to the way bodhi works, since there was already an update with the rtl-sdr build, it didn't add it to the update with the rest. :(

I just manually retagged it back in and we should be all ok now.

Thanks for the prompt action.

Hello

The ABI didn't change. Can you update version with this patch?

This is really stupid, it seems we will have to do all the crazy rawhide rebuild again :)

The good thing is that we can now build it for older fedoras as well, but I will probably wait for the stable release.
