Additional info:

Since /usr/bin/thunderbird is a shell script, I cannot gdb it. However, starting
it from an xterm gives me this :

[arares@localhost ~]$ thunderbird

Upon further testing, I discovered that it crashes in Gnome and fluxbox too.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

Are you able to reproduce this issue with the upstream binary? Did abrt go up when thundebird crashes?
