Description of problem:
During the hotplug of a vga monitor and enabling of it a kernel oops is produced in the logs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.7.0-7.fc11.i586

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attach external monitor
2. Set external monitor to display
3. Kernel oops
  
Actual results:

Kernel oops

Expected results:

No kernel oops

Additional info:

The action does work, it's just the kernel oops that's not very comforting.
