Xorg.0.log

It's pretty easy to make X crash on my Thinkpad X60s with intel 945GM. See attached Xorg.0.log

A reliable way to make it crash is by having VGA plugged in during X startup. Multiple times I also managed to make it crash simply by clicking on the window selector applet in GNOME, but that's not as reliable to trigger the segfault.

This happens since I updated to current Rawhide today. The snapshot from a two weeks or so ago I used before was stable.

Comment 1 Adam Williamson 2009-10-30 21:21:31 UTC
Adam or Kristian, can you evaluate this one urgently? It's one of only two issues blocking F12 that are assigned to the intel driver, and the other one's waiting for info, so this is more or less top priority. Thanks!

This is very-very similar (to my mind) or most probably even the same as in bug 524244. What do you think?

Comment 3 Adam Williamson 2009-11-02 17:37:33 UTC
Well spotted, it does indeed look like the same failure.
