Tried to open a PDF

I don't really have time to debug this further now, but just doing a

$ mkdir ~/.gnome2/evince

works around this crash.

Comment 14 Carl G. 2010-04-28 15:34:05 UTC
mkdir ~/.gnome2/evince
touch ~/.gnome2/evince/last_settings

Will fix this issue.

Evince should be more tolerant / create the dir if it doesn't exist upon startup.

Evince crashes now on any file one opens! A disaster!

Comment 17 scumbag 2010-04-28 20:10:52 UTC
The workaround that Carl G post in the comment #14 fix the issue.

The old version 2.30.0-4 don't crash, so a downgrade also works.
