patch for bitmap.spec which updates the release from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5 (deleted)

no flags Details | Diff

Description FTBFS 2010-12-07 18:38:00 UTC
bitmap-1.0.3-8.fc15.src.rpm Failed To Build From Source against the rawhide tree. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FTBFS for more information.
This failure is due to a change in the linker default behavior, which uncovered a fault in your package. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ChangeInImplicitDSOLinking .
If you believe this is actually a bug in another package, do NOT change the component in this bug or close this bug. Instead, add the appropriate bug number from the other package to the "Depends on" line in this bug. If the other package does not yet have a bug created that you think matches, please create one. Doing so helps us properly track bugs and their dependencies, just as we track package dependencies. (If you close this bug, and the other package is not fixed before the next FTBFS run, a new bug will get created. Please follow the above advice to avoid such duplication.)

patch for bitmap.spec which updates the release from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5

The attached patch updates this package to the current upstream release. The Failed-To-Build-From-Source has been fixed upstream already.

Comment 8 Niels de Vos 2011-03-20 20:10:34 UTC
Scratch-build completed successfully:

Comment 9 Niels de Vos 2011-03-20 20:34:34 UTC
Please review my patch from comment #7 and update the package if appropriate. As is it only a minor update, it should not affect any users of the package.

Thanks!

Comment 10 Niels de Vos 2011-03-25 19:13:19 UTC
Adding the Patch keyword as a patch for the spec-file has been attached already.

Comment 11 Henrik Nordström 2011-09-07 00:17:58 UTC
Can we please have bitmap-1.0.3-10 which should fix this ftbfs pushed as an update to F15? The armv7 bootstrap is getting hit by this.

How would that help? The changes are available in git, just take them.

This was already fixed by Dan Horak by removing AM_LDFLAGS=-lXmu.

Comment 13 Dennis Gilmore 2011-09-07 12:27:07 UTC
