Description Joey Boggs 2011-01-19 15:13:58 UTC
Description of problem:
When running the example python script an invalid pointer message is displayed
*** glibc detected *** python: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007f03bb8c5030 ***

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
PyPAM-0.5.0-8.fc14.x86_64

How reproducible:
Run sample script at: /usr/share/doc/PyPAM-0.5.0/examples/pamtest.py and input valid user/password

Actual results:

[root@localhost examples]# python pamtest.py
<pam object, service="passwd", user="(null)", conv=0x1df6970, pamh=0x1e8c680>
login:root
Password:
Good to go!
*** glibc detected *** python: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007fae3b4fd030 ***

Expected results:
no error messages in output

Only concerned about this because there is a newt ui on top reusing some of the sample code and the error it getting written over top of menu components.

Actually the patch for the deallocation bug is not applied in the PyPAM-0.5.0-8.fc14 package
