Description of problem:

After the apr 23 yum update the NM applet is displaying a red X when I log in to f17 KDE. There are no wifi networks listed in the selection area. I found that if you uncheck the "Enable Networking" box and then re-check it it will kick NM and proceed to connect to my wifi network.

Every time you boot up

1. boot up
2. log in

no wifi connections

to connect to my wifi network
