Description Jens Petersen 2012-11-05 05:50:55 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-18.24-1.fc18

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot Fedora-18-Beta-TC7-x86_64-netinst.iso
2. change install environment from GNOME to Minimal or Basic X desktop

Actual results:
2. Anaconda Software Selection spoke shows optional package groups
enabled (checked) in its UI.

Specifically for Minimal install @standard (old @base) is checked,
and for Basic X desktop @firefox, @gnome, and @input-methods are checked.

Expected results:
2. All optional groups should appear unchecked

Additional info:
In fact Anaconda does not install those checked groups so
it is just a UI issue - nevertheless rather confusing.

I guess the optional groups UI data is not being reset
(or Anaconda is assuming that default groups for one environment
can't appear as optional groups for other environments).

This will be fixed post-beta. I don't know the version number yet.
