Description of problem:Fedup to Fedora 18 from Fedora 17.  Logging into KDE fails and goes back to login screen

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start up PC
2.Login
3. Fails and goes back to Login Screen
  
Actual results:
Goes back to login screen

Should be able to log in

Acer laptop, HD 3200 graphics

Reinstalled Fedora 18.  System was not usable and something with the upgrade problem it.

it's a dup of bug #888085  

(yum distro-sync would've probably been the cure)

I will try with next 17 to 18 if I have problems.
